In advanced Typography, students were tasked to design a Zine with the theme of “What is the Lord teaching you right now?” This project came up at a time I was experiencing a little bit of burn out and was the perfect project to help me find rest, remind me of the goodness of God, and also give me a chance to design in my favorite style. Hand Lettering has always been my creative outlet and was also the first kind of graphic design I ever did. This project was a great time of reflection and helped me reset. I drew each element in Procreate and imported them into Indesign for the layout.
