In Advanced Typography, students had to chose an old typeface and either revive it or remix it. I chose to remix. Vendome Romain, an Old Style typeface from the 1950s.change it up. I used parts of the original and added/manipulated it as well. It was a tricky process especially when having to guess what some of the characters should look like because I didn’t have examples. Overall, I am proud of how this turned out and am excited to explore type design more in the future.
