For this project, we were tasked with reinventing the soft cover, hard cover, and page layout of a well known book. I chose the Wonderful Wizard of Oz because ideas starting flowing as soon as I read over the name. I was inspired by the yellow brick road. I love how the gold foil turned out! Overall, I was very pleased with the outcome of this project, it was a lot of fun to develop!
I had never done page layouts before this project, and it was definitely the most challenging part. It was really cool to learn about the process of book layouts and see the amount of work and thought that goes into it.
