CVALC PARTIAL REBRAND

Partial rebrand for the Central Virginia Land Conservancy.

Partial rebrand strategy – The Central Virginia Land Conservancy aims to work with Virginia landowners to conserve land in Virginia. For the partial rebrand, the client asked that our team keep the primary color, the company name, and the general essence of the brand. To achieve this while also enhancing the brand, we decided it is best to stick with the acorn in our design but to change it up so that it doesn’t look as much like clip art anymore. The tone of the company is competent and ruggedness. Our target audience is the older generation, so with this in mind, we will pair the existing typeface with a typewriter typeface. Additionally, we will add an ink bleed texture to the logo. We want to appeal to this generation by making them think about the generations to come after them and preserve their legacy. Because of this, the younger generations should be just as involved so we will make sure to modernize the acorn so that the logo appeals to both older and younger generations.
