ABOUT ME !
I’ve loved art my whole life, especially painting and lettering, but I didn’t see how I could pursue art as my future career. That is until I discovered an app called Procreate sophomore year and got an iPad and Apple Pencil. It took a ton of practice and hard work, but I got pretty good at using it over time. I began to post my work on Instagram and then started receiving requests for custom stickers, illustrations, logos, and more. By the start of 2021, Kate’s Kreations expanded to decals, planners, graduation cap toppers, and t-shirts.
In 2021, I started job shadowing the social media coordinator at my church, Cornerstone Chapel, for my senior capstone project. I learned a lot about graphic design and photography during this time, and this opportunity led to an internship the summer before I left for Liberty University. Since being at Liberty University, I have learned valuable skills through the classes I've taken and from my professors. Currently, I manage Social Media for the Liberty University Men's Swim Team. I interned at Cornerstone again the following summer, along with becoming the Digital Marketing Intern at Building Envelope Consulting, LLC. In the winter of 2023, I started working as a photographer and designer for Flames Creative, the creative team for Liberty's division 1 sports. I am so blessed that the Lord has opened these doors for me and for the opportunities I've been given.
